Enclave. Living with painting. 2025

I always strive to bring colour and movement and softness into built environments, and being commissioned to create a painting for this new suite of townhouses, with the backdrop of an old church, made me melt.

Botanicals were chosen to reflect species that are often used in urban indoor spaces, but I also chose broad leaf bush peas and Sturt desert peas to reflect the coexistence and gathering of people as they make new homes side by side. Teamed with a fine cadence of colour and light, always.
