Installed, rich and at home, 2025

Working for a government supported not-for-profit, this project focussed on enhancing their space to make the whole area more engaging for their clients. Drawing on purposefully incorporated native botanical species and environmentally conscious material choices in this recent build, I wanted to bring in super warm tones and celebrate native fauna.

I treated this whole project almost like homework - working very specifically and thinking about the actual act of painting these subjects to strengthen the confidence I have in the way I paint. And the surface was a touch challenging!

My first painting is of native Yellow Admiral Butterflies - dreamy colours.
